In massage therapy, a trained, certified medical professional (massage therapist) manipulates the soft tissues of your body — muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and skin. The massage therapist uses varying degrees of pressure and movement. Serena is drawn to modalities that bring warmth and movement to people’s bodies. Her training includes both Eastern and Western techniques including Spa Therapies, Tuina, myofascial release, myofascial cupping, and facilitated stretching.

I am an Oregon native, and Native American with ancestral ties to the Columbia River and the Willamette River Valley on my mother’s side.

My first goal is to promote inclusivity in massage therapy and to prove that all body shapes, sizes and colors benefit from receiving therapeutic massage and muscle stretching.

My next goal is to employ my skills in massage therapy to help people improve their lives and feel wonderful inside their bodies. I create strong relationships with my clients and develop a deep understanding of how I can help them through massage therapy. My method includes listening (literally and energetically) then integrating movement and stretching techniques with deep tissue manipulation in combination with hydrotherapy and relaxation for enhanced recovery and balance creation.
